Changes are coming. Effective April 1, 2023, new updates to the PAR MLS Rules & Regulations will be implemented that address changes in the MLS. The PAR MLS Rules and Regulations have been updated and are available in the MLS Documents on the top right corner of the homepage, or on the MLS Resource tab at the center of the homepage under MLS Documents & Forms. Please take the time to review the following changes Sections:

 

  • Section 1.02: Types of Properties

  • Section 1.2.7: Commercial Listings

  • Section 1.17: Lease/Rental Listings

  • Section 7: Compliance with Rules – Authority to Impose Discipline

  • Section 7.5.4: No Loan of Key

  • Section 9.1.1: Alleged Violations

  • Section 9.2: Minor (Correctable) Violations

  • Section 9.3: Failure to Correct a Listing/Minor Violation

  • Section 9.4: Prohibited Activities

  • Section 9.5: Major Violations

  • Section 9.6: Failure to Correct a Major Violation

  • Section 9.7: Failure to Pay Fines

  • Section 9.9: MLS Hearing Request

  • Section 9.10:  Records

 

The MLS Committee will continue to update the PAR MLS Rules & Regulations as needed to meet the requirements set forth by the National Association of REALTORS®, ensure the accuracy of MLS data, and to better support PAR MLS members. If you have any recommendations that would benefit the MLS, please feel free to complete and submit the MLS Committee Request Form under the MLS Documents tab on the top right section of the PAR MLS homepage.

MLS Education Classes

Registration, Walk-ins, Cancellation, Class Minimums, & Late Cancellation/No Show Fees:

  • Registration – Members may register for the class via their Member Portal at pensacolarealtors.org.  All MLS educational courses are free of charge.

  • Walk-ins – Members who have not registered, or brokerage assistants/administrators who currently are not able to register under the Member Portal system, are welcome to walk in.

  • Class Minimums – In order to efficiently utilize MLS resources, the following minimum class attendance is required to move forward with the scheduled class.  It is highly recommended that any Member/Assistant/Administrator wishing to join the class as a “walk-in” contact the PAR office the day prior to ensure that the class has not been canceled.

    • Mandatory (M) – 1 Registered Member

    • Fundamental (F) – 5 Registered Members

    • Elective (E) – 10 Registered Members

  • Cancellation – Registered members may cancel their registrations up to 48 hours prior to the class date via the Member Portal system.

  • Late Cancellation/No Show Fees – Any cancellation within 48 hours of the class or any registered member who fails to attend the class will be charged a $15.00 Late Cancellation/No Show Fee.
